Do you feel like your relationship is at a standstill? Are you and your partner stuck in the same argument loop every night? Do you feel like you and your partner are drifting away? Do you desire more intimacy between you and your partner?
All things can be improved, changed and bettered, with just a little support, no matter how big or small. With couples therapy, you’ll learn how to communicate your feelings and needs, and get what you want out of your relationship.
Some issues that bring couples to therapy are:
- Addiction/Partner Addiction Support
- Balance (Work/Life/Family)
- Blended Families
- Chronic Illness
- Divorce
- Extended Family
- Infidelity/Cheating
- Intimacy
- Mental Illness
- Pre-Marital/Readiness
In my couple’s therapy sessions, I help people develop the necessary skills needed to maintain sustaining love.
If any of the above relate to your and your partner in your relationship, contact me today for a free consultation. I would love to speak about how I may be able to help reconnect and rekindle your love for one another.
I’ve completed levels 1, 2 & 3 of the Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy Program from the Gottman Institute. I’ve also completed the Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work training program. The Gottman Institute is the recognized industry leader in providing evidence-based relationship therapy tools for clinicians who are assisting couples with processing through their relationship difficulties and work towards reconnecting and restoring harmony to romantic relationships.
As part of the evidence-based work of the Gottman Institute that I utilize in therapy, I recommend that all couples I work with consider taking the Gottman Relationship Checkup. It is an online tool consisting of 480 questions that reviews and assesses each member of the couple’s feelings about specific aspects of the relationship including friendship, intimacy, emotions, conflict, values and trust, as well as areas such as housework, parenting, finances and several other pertinent areas of concern.
The fee for the assessment is $29 that is paid online directly to the Gottman Institute and the results are available to the couple and myself to review and discuss during our sessions. The assessment is a valuable tool for us to begin our work together from an informed approach of how each person feels about the strength of the relationship and where the potential areas of improvement exist for us to address. If you are interested in more information about the Gottman Relationship Checkup, please contact me for details.
